Jazz Festival, guitar lessons, & Ponytails!

Maya has been very excited about being able to put her hair in a ponytail or a tail as she calls it- here's a shot of her bam bam look! Also a couple of shots of Daddy playing guitar with Maya (and Tate)! We went to the blue's night of the Jazz Festival in the park, it was Tate's first concert, he seemed to enjoy looking at all the people and I think the loud music lulled him to sleep! Maya of course loved it and we had to take her up close to the stage to see the guitars and piano- she loves her music! The last two pictures are from the Jazz Festival 2 years ago- Maya's first concert! :)

Birthday Swingset!

Grandma Bonnie and Papa came this weekend to help set up the swing set they gave Maya for her birthday! The pink swing that Aunt Sky gave her has been sitting in our house waiting to be hung and Maya would scream "MY PINK SWING" every time she saw it- so you can only imagine how excited she was to actually get to swing in it today! We are looking forward to many days swinging and sliding!

Maya's 1st day of PreSchool

Today was Maya's first day of Preschool, she was very excited about going and even more excited once we got to the classroom- the only time she was not excited was when it was time to leave!! For the last few days whenever we mentioned the word school, she would squeal with excitement, I can say that she was not disappointed. It's hard to believe that our little girl is growing up so fast-already starting school! ;)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Maya!

We celebrated Maya's 2nd birthday last weekend with a kiddie pool party! I can honestly say that all the kiddos had a blast, especially the birthday girl! Tate 10 weeks

Tate is already 10 weeks old- where has the time gone? He is an absolute joy- such a good baby and very patient. We had his two month check-up yesterday and he is in great health and a very big boy, weighing in at 12 lbs. 14 oz. that puts him in the 75th percentile! He'll be as big as his sister before too long!!!
