Afternoon at Oatland Island

We spent Sunday afternoon at Oatland Island Educational Center- we saw wolves, bison, turtles, bald eagles, hawks, chickens, turkeys, pigs, cows, donkeys, sheep, goats and many more I'm sure! Maya had a blast, she loved seeing all the animals and playing in the dirt! She was very happy that the cows 'mooed' and the chickens 'bawked'- I think she could have watched them for hours!

Christmas in Moultrie!

Well we survived the holidays this year and they were fantastic! We all had a great time watching Maya enjoy all our family traditions and making a few new ones of our own! Here is a snapshot of some/most of our family celebrations in Moultrie with a wonderful homecoming to all Maya's gifts set up under her own tree in Savannah! (Daddy came home a day early with most of her gifts.)

15 Month checkup

Maya had her 15 month check-up last week and we are happy to report she finally broke the 20lb mark! She is still not quite 30inches tall yet (29.5)! She is doing great meeting and surpassing all her milestones. Her doctor was impressed by her manners- she says "Thank You" and covers her mouth when she coughs! We're not sure where she gets it from! :) But we will take it while it last!

Thanksgiving in Miami!

Maya made her first trip to Miami for Thanksgiving and she had a great time! We didn't do very good at taking pictures, but here are a few that we did take. And yes, we did take clothes for her to wear, but you can't tell by these pictures!!! She loved playing with her cousin Braden, but couldn't quite figure out why he wouldn't get up and run around with her, although he kept pretty good on his hands and knees! Maya was also very excited to see Uncle Michael- it's been way too long!
